Then, we'll head to Florence's main food market. Here, you'll find delicious Tuscan cheeses and cold meats and discover their distinctive features. You'll discover the secrets of Italian spices that perfectly enhance the flavors of dishes, and you can stock up on seasonings for your own culinary masterpieces. In the streets of the historic center, I'll show you a place where Florentines often stop to enjoy lampredotto, trippa, and bolitto. We'll also explore the "Mediterranean Diet," discuss the most popular Florentine snack since—it's scary to imagine—the 15th century, and why regional cuisine is loved worldwide. Appreciate Tuscan Cuisine Ravioli, tortellini, tortellacci, spaghetti, tagliatelle, gnocchi, fagottini—get ready to learn all the most interesting things about Italian pasta and try it with a delicious sauce!
